The National Bank has entered into a fierce competition with Zamalek to secure the services of Mohamed Ben Sherki, the Ghazl El Mahalla player, following his impressive performance this season. A well-informed source confirmed that negotiations with Zamalek, which had been advanced due to the player’s preference and financial agreements, are currently facing a temporary setback with the National Bank joining the talks.
The source pointed out that the National Bank is strongly aiming to strengthen its squad at the request of head coach Tarek Mostafa and has begun official discussions with Ghazl El Mahalla officials in recent hours.
Meanwhile, Zamalek continues to push to finalize the deal quickly, especially after the team’s confirmed stay in the Egyptian Premier League following the decision to cancel relegation this season. Zamalek aims to reinforce the squad after losing most of the titles this season, with the management hoping to sign new players to compete strongly in the upcoming season.
