The Turkish club Galatasaray has officially announced the completion of the transfer deal with the German player Leroy Sané during the current summer transfer window, coming from the German club Bayern Munich.

The club stated in an official statement that the contract is for three seasons starting from July 1, 2025, where Sané will receive a net annual salary of 9 million euros, in addition to annual net bonuses amounting to 3 million euros, reflecting the club’s strong confidence in the player’s abilities and his capacity to support the team.

Sané had joined Bayern Munich in 2020 on a five-year contract, coming from the English club Manchester City, with whom he achieved remarkable successes, including winning the English Premier League titles in the 2018 and 2019 seasons.
The player’s move to the Turkish league came after his contract with Bayern Munich expired, as the German club decided not to renew his contract, which opened the door for his joining Galatasaray, who seek to strengthen their squad with experienced and highly skilled players.

During his time at Bayern Munich, Sané achieved numerous accomplishments, winning four Bundesliga titles, including last season’s championship, along with two German Super Cups, the UEFA Super Cup, and the FIFA Club World Cup, highlighting his effective contribution to the team’s successive successes.

In addition to his club achievements, Sané has extensive international experience, having played in 70 matches with the German national team, scoring 61 goals for Bayern Munich across various competitions, and providing 55 assists, demonstrating his high offensive skills and playmaking ability.

Galatasaray hopes that Leroy Sané’s joining will contribute to elevating the team’s performance domestically and continentally, especially in Turkish and European competitions, relying on the player’s experience and skills gained from playing in the top European leagues.
