Omar Marmoush Misses Friendly Against Uzbekistan Due to Engagement
Egyptian winger and Manchester City star Omar Marmoush will miss the friendly against Uzbekistan as he prepares for his engagement ceremony.
⚽ A source within the Egyptian national team confirmed that Omar Marmoush, winger and Manchester City player, will miss the upcoming friendly against Uzbekistan scheduled for Friday.
The source explained that Marmoush’s absence was due to permission to leave the national team camp to prepare for his engagement ceremony, affecting his participation in recent group training sessions and making him not fully ready physically and tactically for the first match. 💍
The source added that Omar Marmoush will join the national team camp on Thursday evening and start training on Friday, preparing for the second match during the international break.
🏟️ Marmoush is expected to be fully fit for the second friendly, whose opponent has not yet been announced, either Iran or Cape Verde.
