🟢 Introduction 🔥
Egyptian club Pyramids FC are in the final stages of selecting a new head coach after narrowing their shortlist to just two foreign candidates.
This move comes after the departure of Croatian coach Krunoslav Jurčić, as the club prepares for a new technical project aimed at maintaining domestic and continental competitiveness.
🟡 Two foreign candidates in final stage 📊
Club management has reduced the list of potential coaches to two foreign names currently under evaluation.
Both candidates have been submitted to the club’s ownership for final approval, with the expectation that one will be selected and officially appointed in the coming days.
The club is aiming to finalize the decision quickly before the start of pre-season preparations.
🔵 Post-Jurčić transition 🔄
Following the end of Krunoslav Jurčić’s tenure, Pyramids FC are working on establishing a new technical direction focused on stability and strong competition for titles.
The club believes the next coach must bring experience, leadership, and the ability to handle pressure at a high level.
🟣 Ali Maaloul alternative option 🇪🇬
Egyptian coach Ali Maaloul, manager of Ceramica Cleopatra FC, was the only local candidate considered alongside several foreign options.
However, contractual complications, including a release clause and long-term deal, made the move difficult to complete.
🟠 Ceramica’s official stance 🛡️
Ceramica Cleopatra issued a statement confirming their full commitment to keeping Ali Maaloul, emphasizing that his contract remains valid and stable.
The club stressed that their project depends on continuity and that the coach will remain in charge moving forward.
