Marwan explained that losing the Egyptian Premier League title will not impact the team’s preparation for the match against Sundowns. He stressed that the league and cup are completely separate from the Champions League, and neither affects the players’ performance in the African competition.

The player added that the recent Sundowns vs. Al Ahly match has nothing to do with their own match against the South African team. He confirmed that they weren’t worried about that game because Pyramids were the more dangerous side in the first leg and were close to winning away, which boosts their confidence going into the second leg.
