Real Madrid officially snatches Bournemouth talent Dylan Howson.
Real Madrid signs Bournemouth defender Dylan Howson on a long-term contract in preparation for the Club World Cup.

Spanish club Real Madrid has officially announced the signing of young defender Dylan Howson from English club Bournemouth, marking the Merengues’ first transfer of the summer window. The contract runs from June 1, 2025, until June 30, 2030, after the activation of the release clause in the player’s contract.
This signing is part of Real Madrid’s plan to strengthen the squad in preparation for the Club World Cup, as well as to prepare for Xabi Alonso’s upcoming role as head coach, succeeding Carlo Ancelotti.
According to the Spanish newspaper AS, Real Madrid aims to complete three early signings: Dylan Howson, Álvaro Carreras, and Trent Alexander-Arnold. The report states that Carreras is 90% likely to join Real Madrid despite Manchester United’s attempts to re-sign him before selling him to the Merengues.
Reports also indicate that Alexander-Arnold will lead the right flank in the Club World Cup, while Howson and Raúl Asensio will form the central defense duo, with Carreras playing on the left wing.
