Sports presenter Moheeb Abdel Hadi revealed that Zamalek’s board of directors is hesitant about the return of player Tarek Hamed to the team for the upcoming season, pointing out that the main reason is the player’s advancing age.

Abdel Hadi mentioned on his official Facebook account that the management is seriously considering this matter before making a final decision.

Zamalek, led by head coach Ayman Al-Ramadi, is preparing to face Petrojet in the Egyptian Premier League. The match is scheduled for 5 PM on Saturday, May 24, at the Military Academy Stadium, as part of the eighth round of the league’s second phase.

Sources confirmed that the Zamalek vs. Petrojet match will be broadcast on On Sport channel. Zamalek also has important upcoming matches, including the game against Pharco on May 31 at Cairo Stadium, and the Egypt Cup final against Pyramids on June 5 at the same venue.

Zamalek aims to strengthen its squad and avoid any future issues while monitoring Tarek Hamed’s status and future with the team based on both technical and administrative considerations.
