Round of 16 Fixtures and Dates Announced for the Women’s Basketball Linked League

The preliminary stage of the Women’s Linked Basketball League for the 2025–2026 season has officially concluded 🏀, setting the stage for the exciting Round of 16, where the top 16 teams will compete in home-and-away matches between the senior women’s squads and the U-18 linked teams 🔥.
Based on the final standings from the preliminary phase, the Round of 16 fixtures have been determined as follows:
Al Ahly vs. Madinet Nasr
Al Gezira vs. Al Zohour
New Giza vs. National Bank of Egypt
Sporting vs. Al Tayaran
Al Seid vs. Wadi Degla
Heliopolis vs. Al Shams
Misr Insurance vs. Al Olympi
Smouha vs. Geziret El Ward 🏆
According to the schedule announced by the Competition Committee of the Egyptian Basketball Federation, the first-leg matches will be played on October 18, while the second-leg matches are set for October 21 of the same month.
The committee also confirmed the quarterfinal round dates for the qualified teams, with first-leg matches on October 25 and second-leg matches on October 28, as the competition moves closer to crowning the next Women’s Linked League champion 🏅.
