Zaher stated via his personal social media account that Al Ahly have received the official release papers of Hadi Riyad, bringing the player one step closer to officially joining the Red Devils.
The move comes as part of Al Ahly’s plan to reinforce the squad with new additions ahead of upcoming domestic and continental challenges.
On the pitch, Al Ahly continued their strong run in the Egyptian Premier League, securing a 3-1 victory over Wadi Degla at Cairo International Stadium in the 16th round of the competition.
