🟦 Hamza Alaa’s Performance Gives Al Ahly Another Positive
Ahmed Shobeir considered Hamza Alaa’s appearance in goal one of the most important positives from Al Ahly’s match against Petrojet, particularly because the goalkeeper dealt well with the balls that came his way during the game.
The performance gives the technical staff another opportunity to assess Hamza and consider him as an additional ready option in the squad, especially with the importance of having several reliable players available throughout the season.
🔥 Tawfik Mohamed Improves and Provides an Assist
Shobeir also discussed Tawfik Mohamed’s performance, explaining that the player did not appear at his best during the first half and seemed somewhat nervous.
However, his level improved significantly after the break. Shobeir praised his second-half performance and pointed out that he contributed an assist, which represents another positive ahead of the difficult encounter with Zamalek.
📢 Shobeir Warns Ali Mahmoud Ahead of the Derby
At the same time, Ahmed Shobeir issued a clear warning to Ali Mahmoud because of several fouls committed during the match.
Shobeir believes some of the challenges were unnecessary and could have resulted in the player being sent off early. Such mistakes could become particularly costly in a major derby, where every decision and every challenge can have a significant impact on the result.
The player will therefore need to show greater concentration and composure against Zamalek, especially given the intensity and importance of the encounter.
⭐ Hussein El Shahat Remains a Key Difference-Maker
Hussein El Shahat received special praise from Ahmed Shobeir, who believes the Al Ahly winger has the ability to make a major difference when he is performing at his best.
Shobeir emphasized that El Shahat is not only capable of scoring goals but can also create opportunities and directly influence the outcome of matches.
His form is particularly important for Al Ahly at this stage of the season, with the derby against Zamalek approaching and the team needing players capable of taking advantage of even the smallest opportunities.
