⚽ Shobeir Reveals Ammouta’s Key Gains Ahead of Al Ahly-Zamalek Derby
Sports presenter Ahmed Shobeir has discussed Al Ahly’s preparations for the upcoming Egyptian Premier League clash with Zamalek, highlighting the importance of the team’s participation in the Egypt Capital Cup before the derby.
According to Shobeir, the tournament gave head coach Hussein Ammouta an important opportunity to evaluate a large number of players and assess his available options before one of the biggest matches of the season.
Al Ahly gained several technical benefits from the competition, particularly because a large number of players were given meaningful minutes on the pitch.
🔥 Shobeir: Ammouta Got Maximum Benefit From the Match
During his radio program, Ahmed Shobeir said Hussein Ammouta benefited greatly from Al Ahly’s Egypt Capital Cup match and described the team’s performance as one of its best displays of the current season.
Shobeir explained that giving playing time to a large number of players allowed the coach to evaluate their levels more accurately while also checking the readiness of the substitutes ahead of the difficult Zamalek encounter.
He particularly highlighted the performances of the central defenders, saying the coaching staff now has a clearer picture of the players who could be relied upon when needed.
⭐ Capital Cup Gives Al Ahly a Chance to Test Its Bench
The Egypt Capital Cup provides coaching staffs with an opportunity to assess players who do not regularly receive significant minutes in league matches.
Al Ahly used the competition to give several players valuable playing time, allowing Ammouta to evaluate his squad in competitive conditions rather than relying solely on training sessions.
The timing is especially important with the Zamalek derby approaching, as the coaching staff needs as many players as possible to be ready for the major fixture.
