Egyptian sports broadcaster Ahmed Shobier stirred discussion with his latest remarks about the departure of Tunisian star Ali Maaloul from Al Ahly, stating that the club made the decision sooner than it should have from his personal perspective 🔴⚪

Speaking on his radio show on ON Sport FM, Shobier said Al Ahly hurried the process by choosing not to extend Maaloul’s contract for an additional season, especially after the player regained his top form in the Tunisian league and earned a recall to his national team 🇹🇳✨

He added that Maaloul’s recent performances prove he was capable of contributing another strong season with Al Ahly, noting his involvement in the Arab Cup and his likely participation in the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations.

Shobier concluded by saying that this is merely his personal view, but he believes Maaloul deserved one more season with Al Ahly due to his value, experience, and impact on the pitch ⚽🔥
