Shock for Al Ahly Fans… Shobeir Reveals the Truth About Osama Faisal’s Transfer Deal
Ahmed Shobeir confirms there are no negotiations between Al Ahly and Osama Faisal, denying any imminent move to the Red Castle.
Media personality Ahmed Shobeir addressed the recent speculation regarding the potential transfer of young striker Osama Faisal, a player at National Bank of Egypt SC, to Al Ahly during the current summer transfer window. He confirmed that all such reports are inaccurate and not based on any reliable information.
During his radio statements, Shobeir emphasized that Al Ahly has not entered into any negotiations—direct or indirect—with the player or his current club so far. He added that the idea of Osama Faisal joining Al Ahly has not been officially discussed at the Red Castle’s management level.
Shobeir stated clearly:
“The talk about Osama Faisal nearing a move to Al Ahly is completely untrue. There have been no official contacts, not even an informal inquiry from Al Ahly regarding the player. The club has made no move toward him in any form up to this point.”
He explained that many of the circulating reports in the media and on social platforms are merely speculations or premature assumptions lacking accurate information. He stressed that Al Ahly handles its transfer dealings with utmost confidentiality and professionalism, and no step is announced until negotiations reach an advanced stage.
Shobeir added:
“Yes, there have been some informal discussions here and there about other players like Ahmed Eid, but when it comes to Osama Faisal specifically, the matter is simply not on the club’s agenda at present.”
He concluded by urging fans to remain calm and not to get carried away by the wave of fast-moving news, especially during the transfer window when rumors are rampant and facts often get mixed with speculation.
