Smoha team continues its intensive and ongoing preparations ahead of the new football season kickoff. Tomorrow, Wednesday, they are set to face Zed FC in an important friendly match, part of a series of preparatory games aimed at enhancing players’ technical and physical readiness before the season begins with a tough clash against Tala'ea El Gaish in the Premier League.
In recent weeks, Smoha has played several strong friendlies against teams such as Modern Sport, Tala'ea El Ostoul, Sporting, and Pharco, while a scheduled friendly against Al Mokawloon Al Arab was canceled due to technical and organizational reasons. The coaching staff, led by head coach Ahmed Abdel Aziz, has aimed to make the most of these matches to test tactical plans and boost team cohesion.
As part of the preparations, Ahmed Abdel Aziz submitted a comprehensive technical report to the club's board, highlighting key reinforcement needs during the summer transfer window.
