Official Investigations Launched Following Allegations Surrounding Al-Nasr Club
In light of recent reports circulated across various media outlets and social media platforms regarding administrative and financial irregularities within Al-Nasr Sporting Club, in addition to an unfortunate incident that occurred on Friday morning during the club's swimming team training, the Ministry of Youth and Sports has moved quickly to investigate the matter and monitor developments closely.
Immediate Action Ordered by the Minister
In response to the situation, Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, issued urgent directives to form an expanded inspection committee from the Central Department of Financial and Administrative Inspection at the Ministry. This will be carried out in coordination with the Cairo Directorate of Youth and Sports.
The committee is tasked with conducting a comprehensive review of all financial and administrative documents related to Al-Nasr Club. This includes examining financial transactions, contracts, administrative procedures, and governance systems to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and laws.
Firm Stance Against Any Misconduct
The Ministry emphasized its absolute rejection of any form of administrative, financial, or behavioral misconduct within sports entities and clubs. It reiterated the importance of upholding transparency, discipline, and integrity across all institutions operating in the sports sector to maintain public trust and ensure a safe environment for all members.
The Ministry also confirmed that legal action will be taken against any party proven to have violated the law or committed misconduct, whether technical or administrative.

The Ministry announced that the committee will complete its work in a timely manner and submit a detailed report directly to the Minister. Based on the findings, appropriate measures will be taken, and the Ministry pledged full transparency in presenting the outcomes to the public.
