⚽ Gomaa Mashhour: Pyramids Are the Strongest So Far
Tala’a El-Gaish head coach Gomaa Mashhour said that Pyramids are, in his view, the strongest team in the Egyptian Premier League at this stage of the season.
Speaking to Karim Ramzy on Mega FM, Mashhour also described the current league campaign as stronger and more difficult than last season, with clubs entering the competition in good condition.

Mashhour explained that the current campaign has featured tougher competition, with many clubs showing a high level of preparation and readiness.
He added that the relatively close levels between several teams make the competition more demanding and require greater concentration from match to match.
⭐ Praise for Pyramids’ Squad Depth
The Tala’a El-Gaish coach explained why he considers Pyramids the most prepared side in the league so far, pointing to the strength of their squad and the options available to their coaching staff.
He said: “Pyramids are the most prepared team in the Egyptian league because of the strong squad they have, and their players’ level has been stronger so far.”
At the same time, Mashhour stressed that Al Ahly and Zamalek remain among the leading contenders for the league title because of the quality of their squads and experienced players.
🏆 Al Ahly and Zamalek Remain in the Race
Mashhour’s assessment of Pyramids does not exclude Al Ahly and Zamalek from the title race, as he highlighted the quality and experience available at both clubs.
The competition remains open as the season progresses, particularly with several teams showing competitive levels across the league.
💪 Tala’a El-Gaish Target a Top-Six Finish
Mashhour also praised Tala’a El-Gaish’s performances this season and stressed the club’s ambition to remain competitive in the league standings.
He said the club’s management is committed to providing the team with the necessary resources and support in order to pursue its objective of finishing among the top six.
Tala’a El-Gaish will now look to maintain its current level and collect results that support its ambitions during the remainder of the campaign.
