Tala’a El-Gaish head coach Gomaa Mashhour has addressed reports surrounding the possibility of Mohamed Atef returning to Zamalek during the upcoming January transfer window.
Mashhour confirmed that Tala’a El-Gaish have not received any official request from Zamalek to terminate the player’s loan, while emphasizing that Atef has become an important member of the squad.

Speaking to Karim Ramzy on Mega FM, Mashhour said there was “nothing official” regarding a possible early termination of Mohamed Atef’s loan.
He added that Atef is one of the team’s key players and that the player himself is keen to continue his loan spell with Tala’a El-Gaish.
The comments indicate that the current arrangement remains unchanged, with the player expected to continue with the team unless a formal request is made.
