الزمالك وبيراميدز يرفعان شكوى للمحكمة الرياضية بخصوص قمة الدوري

Zamalek Club is seeking to strengthen its alliance with Pyramids Club to prepare a comprehensive legal file to jointly file a complaint with the International Sports Court (CAS) against both the Professional Clubs Association and the Disciplinary Committee of the Egyptian Football Association. This comes following the recent final decision, which ruled that Al Ahly is considered to have lost 3-0 in the 130th league summit match against Zamalek, without imposing additional point deductions on Al Ahly at the end of the season, a decision that sparked anger within the White Castle (Zamalek).
Zamalek and Pyramids believe that this decision contradicts the regulations, which clearly state that 3 additional points should be deducted from Al Ahly’s total at the end of the season if they withdraw from the match. This makes them insist on the necessity to reconsider the ruling and strictly and fairly apply the regulations.

Zamalek’s management confirmed its full commitment to defending the club’s rights by all legal means, expressing its readiness to take all necessary procedures to ensure justice and equal opportunities among all clubs in the competition.

The Appeals Committee of the Football Association had issued its final decision regarding the appeals submitted by Al Ahly, Pyramids, and Zamalek concerning the league summit match, upholding the 3-0 result in favor of Zamalek but without deducting additional points from Al Ahly at the end of the season. Zamalek strongly rejected this, which prompted it to head to the International Sports Court to appeal the decision.
