🚨 Medical scans confirmed that Islam Issa suffered a tear in the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) of his left knee, after undergoing tests immediately upon returning with the Egypt national team from Spain.
✈️ Egypt’s squad arrived in Cairo early Thursday morning after playing a friendly match against Spain at Espanyol Stadium, which ended in a goalless draw.
🔥 The Pharaohs had also played another friendly against Saudi Arabia on March 28 in Jeddah, winning 4-0 as part of their preparations for the 2026 World Cup.
🙏 ACL injuries are among the toughest in football, requiring a long recovery period, making Trezeguet’s message a strong morale boost for the player ahead of his rehabilitation journey.
