The embassy said:
“We are excited to see Egyptian talent shine on the biggest football stage 🌍 when we host the Egyptian national team in the United States during the World Cup 🇺🇸⚽”
It also added:
“Congratulations to Zamalek on a great season and winning the Egyptian Premier League 🏆⚪🔴. With several Zamalek players in the national team, we are excited to see them continue with the same spirit and passion in America 🇺🇸🔥”
🏆 Zamalek crowned champions
Zamalek were officially crowned Egyptian Premier League champions 🏆 after a 1–0 win over Ceramica Cleopatra ⚽ in the final round.
