Mahmoud Al-Wensh, the defender of Zamalek SC, addressed the current challenges facing the club with an emotional message posted on his Instagram account. He emphasized the importance of Zamalek in the players’ careers and reaffirmed their commitment to the club regardless of circumstances.
Al-Wensh wrote: "You know us from Zamalek. We played for national teams and professionally with Zamalek’s name. Our status has become great due to our connection with Zamalek." He added: "No matter how long or short the journey, no matter how harsh the conditions, Zamalek remains with us or without us." He concluded: "History was written by Zamalek, penned by Zamalek, and we are its children, serving and protecting it no matter what."
