📋 The failure to achieve a legal quorum in Zamalek’s special General Assembly means that the club cannot approve its own proposed amendments to the internal regulations, which were intended to align with the latest updates to Egypt’s Sports Law.

According to official procedures, Zamalek will now implement the executive bylaw framework prepared by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, which serves as the unified base regulation for all sports clubs. This framework governs administrative structures, elections, and internal decision-making processes. ⚖️

Zamalek’s initial plan was to approve its own tailored bylaw adjustments, in line with Law No. 71 of 2017 and its amendment under Law No. 171 of 2025. However, since the legal quorum was not met, the club will automatically adopt the ministry’s official bylaw without the need for a member vote.

🏛️ The assembly’s agenda had included the approval of these proposed amendments to ensure compliance with the updated Sports Law, but the lack of sufficient attendance prevented that from happening.

As a result, Zamalek will begin implementing the executive bylaw approved by the Ministry of Youth and Sports. A new General Assembly may be held in the future to approve club-specific changes, provided the required quorum is met.
