In a new development during the summer transfer window, Egyptian club Zamalek has received an official offer from Moroccan side Wydad to loan first-team defender Salah El-Din Mossadek for one season.

A senior source at Zamalek confirmed that the offer includes a purchase option at the end of the loan period, allowing Wydad the possibility of making the deal permanent if the player performs well with the Moroccan club next season.
This offer comes as part of Wydad’s efforts to strengthen its defensive line with an experienced player who possesses significant skill and international competition exposure, especially as the club prepares for upcoming continental tournaments.

For its part, Zamalek is carefully evaluating the offer, considering both the club's and the player’s interests. The club is open to giving Salah El-Din Mossadek more playing time, especially given the fierce competition for defensive spots within the team.

At the same time, Zamalek is keen on securing its financial and technical rights if the deal goes through, and is closely monitoring the progress of negotiations before making a final decision.
