Former Al Ahly player Yasser Al-Rayyan said during his appearance on the Stad Al-Mehwar program that the Moroccan national teams are progressing steadily across all age levels, pointing out that the Morocco U-20 team’s journey to the World Cup final reflects the country’s footballing strength and growth in recent years 🇲🇦⚽.

Speaking about Al Ahly’s upcoming CAF Champions League clash against Eagle Noir of Burundi, Al-Rayyan explained that it’s natural for Adel Mostafa to take charge of the team for this match since new head coach Jess Thorup is still getting to know the players’ capabilities. He added: “It’s clear that Thorup trusted Adel Mostafa to lead the team in this early phase because he knows the squad’s details better at the moment.”

Al-Rayyan also mentioned that Al Ahly will likely maintain the same playing style seen under Emad El-Nahas, predicting an attacking approach from the start to secure an away victory, especially after losing the Champions League title last season  a setback that will push players to fight harder to reclaim continental glory 🏆🔥.
