🏟️ Inspection Tour at Smouha Youth Center
Youth and Sports Minister Johar Nabil conducted an inspection tour of Smouha Youth Center in Alexandria to review the readiness of its sports facilities and ongoing development projects.
The visit also focused on assessing the progress of current work and examining how the center’s available facilities and resources can be used to provide better services for young people.
🏊 Swimming Pool and Sports Facilities Reviewed
The tour included an inspection of the semi-Olympic swimming pool, gymnasium and squash courts currently under construction.
The minister also reviewed the commercial units offered for investment along the center’s perimeter, as well as the full-size football field and multi-purpose sports court.
The facilities were assessed as part of efforts to monitor their readiness and maximize their use for sporting activities and programs for youth and children.
⭐ Developing Youth Centers and Maximizing Resources
Johar Nabil stressed that developing youth centers and sports facilities and maximizing their available resources remain among the ministry’s priorities.
He explained that development plans aim to improve the efficiency of facilities and expand opportunities for sports participation, alongside supporting investment projects that can contribute to increasing the centers’ resources.
According to the minister, strengthening these resources can help sustain development projects and improve the quality of services provided to young people.

The Youth and Sports Minister also highlighted the importance of regular field inspections of sports facilities to identify their needs and ensure that they are fully prepared to provide integrated sports services.
