Youth and Sports Ministry Launches New Program to Prepare Citizenship and Peace Leaders Among Youth
In a step aimed at building a generation capable of promoting dialogue and coexistence, the Ministry of Youth and Sports launched the first Citizenship and Peace Leaders Camp in Cairo, with the participation of youth center members as part of a vision to strengthen peace and social values.

The Ministry of Youth and Sports has launched the activities of the first Citizenship and Peace Leaders Camp in Cairo, with the participation of scouts from youth centers in Minya Governorate, as part of the ministry’s plan to enhance the role of young people in building a more aware and connected society.
The camp will continue until July 25 and targets young people between the ages of 18 and 22, aiming to train and qualify them to become ambassadors for spreading citizenship, tolerance, and peace values within their communities.
The program is organized in cooperation with Misr El Kheir Foundation and the Egyptian Family House’s Christian-Islamic Center for Understanding and Partnership, as part of joint efforts to support social dialogue and strengthen acceptance of others and respect for diversity.
Strengthening Citizenship and Social Coexistence Values 🇪🇬
Through this camp, the Ministry of Youth and Sports seeks to establish the concept of comprehensive citizenship among young people, considering them the main element in building the future of society.

The opening was attended by Bishop Sami Fawzy, Archbishop of the Episcopal Church Province of Alexandria, Dr. Amal Gamal Soliman, Advisor of the Life Aspects Sector at Misr El Kheir Foundation, along with officials from the Citizenship Program.
Bishop Mounir Hanna, Chairman of the Christian-Islamic Center for Understanding and Partnership, also participated in the opening, highlighting the importance of cooperation between different institutions to support peace-building programs and strengthen understanding among society members.
