Introduction ⚽🔥
Zamalek SC is currently witnessing a decisive and highly anticipated phase regarding the future of its first-team coaching staff. The club’s board is actively working on reshaping the technical project in preparation for the upcoming season, with strong indications pointing toward a major managerial change in the coming days.
Decision to End Motaed Gamal’s Tenure 📢⚽
The Zamalek board, led by Hussein Labib, has reportedly reached a near-final decision to thank current head coach Motaed Gamal and his technical staff for their efforts and move in a new direction.
Although Gamal managed to guide the team through a very difficult period and succeeded in securing the Egyptian Premier League title under challenging circumstances, club management believes that this achievement alone is not sufficient to guarantee his continuity.
The board is aiming to establish a more stable and long-term technical project capable of competing strongly both domestically and continentally.
Arab Clubs Show Interest in Motaed Gamal 👀⭐
In parallel, sources indicate that Motaed Gamal has recently received several offers from Arab clubs. The most notable interest reportedly comes from Iraq’s Al-Shorta SC, which is currently waiting for Zamalek’s final decision before entering official negotiations.
This growing interest highlights the positive impression the coach has made during his time with the Egyptian giants.
Portuguese Coach on Zamalek’s Radar 🔥⚽
On the other hand, Zamalek’s management has already started working on identifying a new foreign coach, with a shortlist featuring three Portuguese candidates.
Preliminary discussions have already begun with agents to evaluate financial demands and coaching conditions ahead of the upcoming pre-season training camp.
The club believes that Portuguese coaching expertise aligns with their ambition to improve tactical discipline and build a more competitive squad for future challenges.
African Ambitions and Long-Term Project 🏆🔥
Zamalek’s leadership is prioritizing a quick resolution of the managerial situation so the new coach can participate in planning transfers and shaping the squad.
The ultimate goal is to prepare strongly for the CAF Champions League, with the club aiming to return to continental glory after recent inconsistent campaigns.
The board is also reviewing multiple CVs of experienced foreign coaches to ensure the selection of a manager capable of leading a long-term successful project.
Conclusion ✨📢
Zamalek stands at a crucial turning point as the club edges closer to appointing a Portuguese coach while simultaneously preparing to close the chapter with Motaed Gamal. The coming days are expected to bring decisive announcements that will shape the future of the team as fans eagerly await the next big step in the club’s journey.
