The Zamalek first football team, led by Ahmed Abdel Raouf, will resume training in preparation for their match against ZESCO United from Zambia next Friday, in the opening round of the CAF Confederation Cup group stage, scheduled at Cairo International Stadium on November 23.
The team received a three-day rest after returning from the UAE, where they participated in the Egyptian Super Cup, losing 2-0 to Al Ahly in the final.
Meanwhile, Zamalek’s football committee is working on analyzing the mistakes made by players during the Super Cup matches—both the victory against Pyramids and the loss to Al Ahly—to correct them and make the most of the break to improve the team’s performance ahead of the domestic and continental competitions. ⚽
