Sports journalist Ahmed Hassan revealed an internal move within Zamalek Club to honor star player Mohamed Abdel Shafi, who is on the verge of announcing his retirement from football after a long career full of dedication and achievements.

Hassan wrote on his official Facebook page that Zamalek’s management has begun preparations to offer Abdel Shafi an administrative or technical position within the club after his playing career ends, emphasizing that the club will not let him leave without a tribute befitting his history and status within the White Castle.
