Zamalek’s hearing at the Egyptian FA concludes in Zizo’s unpaid dues case

The Egyptian Football Association held a hearing on Monday to discuss the case between Zamalek SC and Ahmed Mostafa Zizo, the current Al Ahly player, who filed a complaint demanding his unpaid wages from his former club. ⚽
Zamalek was represented by Dr. Kamal Shoaib, the club’s legal advisor, who submitted official documents and evidence confirming that the player has no outstanding dues, stating that the club fulfilled all its financial obligations during Zizo’s time with the team. 📄
According to Zamalek’s legal defense, the amount owed to Zizo did not exceed 10 million EGP, after deducting fines imposed for his repeated absence from training sessions and his public statements against the club during his contract renewal dispute.
Zizo, however, had filed a formal complaint claiming 80 million EGP as unpaid dues — an allegation the club firmly denied, emphasizing it possesses all the necessary documents to prove otherwise. ⚖️
The Players’ Affairs Committee is expected to issue its final decision on the matter in the coming days after reviewing all submitted documents from both sides. ⏳
