Zamalek Club, under the leadership of Hussein Labib and in coordination with Badr Hamed, head of the club’s football sectors, has completed arrangements to sign the late Mohamed Sabry’s sons, Adam (born 2010) and Asser (born 2012), to the youth teams, coming from Al-Sikka Al-Hadid Club.

Procedures will be finalized after the official mourning ceremony, scheduled for Sunday evening at Al-Hamidiya Al-Shazlyia Mosque following Maghrib prayers, instead of the club headquarters as previously planned.

The late Mohamed Sabry passed away early yesterday morning in a tragic car accident, with his funeral held yesterday afternoon. The club announced a three-day mourning period in his honor.

Separately, a club source revealed that former Belgian coach Yannick Ferrera has formally requested all his financial dues before proceeding to file a complaint with FIFA, following the termination of his contract after Zamalek’s draw with Bank Al-Ahly in the league.

Zamalek is set to face ZESCO in the first group stage match of the CAF Confederation Cup on Sunday, November 23, at Cairo International Stadium at 9 PM under the leadership of new coach Ahmed Abdel Raouf.
