The management of Zamalek Club has secured the signature of Ahmed Sherif, the striker of Pharco FC, on a five-year contract during the current summer transfer window. This deal marks the first signing aimed at strengthening the team’s attack for the upcoming season, reflecting the club’s ambition to return strongly in the competition for all titles.

A responsible source within Zamalek confirmed that the club has received the official release letter for the player, and the contract was signed for a total amount of 35 million Egyptian pounds, payable in organized installments. This demonstrates the club’s commitment to sound financial management while securing a player with high technical abilities and outstanding performance in recent seasons.

As part of the preparations for the new season, Belgian coach Yannick Ferreira, Zamalek’s new manager, announced that the training camp will start next Saturday. He granted the players full rest since winning the Egypt Cup, which was their last collective appearance this season, allowing Ferreira to prepare the team thoroughly without pressure.
Ferreira is scheduled to arrive in Cairo this Wednesday evening to officially begin his duties as the team’s head coach after lengthy negotiations lasting about a week with the club’s management. He is expected to work on strengthening the squad, improving technical and physical performance, and setting clear strategic plans for upcoming local and African competitions.

Ferreira hopes to restore the team’s fighting spirit and motivate the players to achieve positive results worthy of Zamalek’s rich history. The white fans are looking forward to a strong season that brings the team back to the podiums, with improved performance both technically and physically, and enhanced harmony among the players on and off the field.
