Zidan pointed out that President El-Sisi chose diplomatic and rational solutions in dealing with the Palestinian issue, avoiding wars to maintain Egypt’s security and stability and contribute to protecting the peoples of the region from conflict.

During the Peace Summit hosted in Sharm El-Sheikh, the leaders of Egypt, the United States, Turkey, and Qatar signed a comprehensive document that included an agreement between Israel and Hamas to end the war in Gaza. The signing was attended by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, U.S. President Donald Trump, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
