He served as the Chairman of the Ghabbour Group and Managing Director of GB Ghabbour Auto, which he founded in 1985. Under his leadership, the company became one of the largest players in the automotive sector in the Middle East.

Raouf Ghabbour was born in Cairo in 1953 to a distinguished family with a long history in entrepreneurship. He earned a bachelor's degree in medicine from Ain Shams University. Ghabbour’s career took off in 1985 when he established GB Ghabbour Auto.
