📅 On May 24, 2020, it was announced that she had tested positive for COVID-19 while filming Laa'bat El-Nesyan. She was admitted to an isolation hospital in Ismailia and remained in the ICU for 43 days before passing away on July 5, 2020, at the age of 85.
