Her Life and Upbringing

Yasmin Wafi was born on September 29, 1987, in Cairo, and is the daughter of the late Egyptian actor Mamdouh Wafi. She graduated from the Faculty of Arts, and developed an interest in art from an early age. She started her artistic journey by directing and acting in university theater during her studies.

 

Her Artistic Career

Yasmin's professional career began when the writer Abeer Suleiman saw her performance in the play Afrah Al-Quba in 2020. She was impressed by her performance and encouraged her to pursue acting professionally. Abeer introduced her to director Ahmed Hassan, who gave her a role in the series Illa Ana, marking the beginning of her career in drama.
