Hamdy Gheit (1924–2006)

A prominent Egyptian actor, born on January 7, 1924, in Kafr Shalshlamoun village, Sharqia Governorate, and passed away on March 7, 2006, at the age of 82 at Ain Shams Specialized Hospital after suffering from health complications.

 

🎓 Education and Career

Hamdy Gheit enrolled in Law School before switching to the Institute of Dramatic Arts, where he graduated top of his class.

He was awarded a scholarship to continue his theatrical studies in Paris.

His artistic journey began in 1954 with the film "Struggle in the Valley", and he participated in about 19 films.
