Hamdy Gheit enrolled in Law School before switching to the Institute of Dramatic Arts, where he graduated top of his class.
He was awarded a scholarship to continue his theatrical studies in Paris.
His artistic journey began in 1954 with the film "Struggle in the Valley", and he participated in about 19 films.
