He initially aspired to study medicine but enrolled in the Faculty of Commerce at Zagazig University instead.

Acted in over 12 university plays and won the Best Actor Award in Egyptian universities.

Before pursuing acting professionally, he worked as a sales manager in a real estate company.

He met producer Mahmoud Dahmoush by chance, who helped him land his first acting roles.

His breakthrough came in 1999 with the film A Girl from Israel.

He portrayed Rushdy Abaza in several productions, including Caryoca and The Cinderella.

Many have compared his appearance and acting style to Syrian actor Taim Hassan.
