🎭 Career Beginnings

In 2001, Mai learned that singer Mohamed Fouad was looking for a new face to star alongside him in the film Rehlet Hob (Love Journey). She contacted family friend director Mounir Rady, who introduced her to director Mohamed El-Naggar, and she got the role after impressing both.

Later, actress Yousra admired Mai's talent and recommended her to director Magdy Abu Emeira for the role of her daughter in the TV series Ayn Qalby (Where's My Heart?), which became her breakout role.

👪 Personal Life

In 2009, she got engaged to Egyptian footballer Mohamed Zidan, but the engagement ended shortly after.
