(August 3, 1974 – July 17, 2024)

Career Highlights:

Originally a computer programmer at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University, Tamer followed his passion for acting. He trained at director Khaled Galal’s Actor Studio and began his journey in state theatre before moving into television and cinema.

El Nehaya (The End) – 2020

Honors:

He was honored by the Life Festival for Supporting Arab Drama in 2014 for his role in El Sayad.

His Passing:

Tamer Diaaey passed away on July 17, 2024, due to heart failure, weeks after suffering a stroke. In May, he posted a moving will on his Facebook page that remained pinned until his passing:

"This is my will, and it shall remain pinned until the day I die."
