Born in the Al-Fagala district of Cairo into a family passionate about the arts 🎨. His father was a writer and journalist in Egyptian radio 🎙️. He began learning music at an early age and joined the Higher Institute of Music at the age of 9 🎶.
Graduated in 1977, then earned his Master’s and PhD degrees from the Vienna Academy of Music 🇦🇹.
