Born in Cairo, Kamal Suleiman was married to a Dutch woman and had a son and a daughter. He lived mostly between Egypt and the Netherlands. He started acting in the early 1980s with minor roles and participated in over 100 artistic works including theater, cinema, and television. He was known as a prominent figure in Egyptian theater and for his versatile roles in cinema and TV.
