8,000 Free Suhoor Meals for Al-Azhar Mosque Visitors on the 27th Night of Ramadan
As the Night of Decree approaches, Al-Zakat and Charity House intensifies its efforts to provide suhoor meals for thousands of worshippers at Al-Azhar Mosque in a special humanitarian initiative
Following the guidance of Grand Imam Professor Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Al-Zakat and Charity House has stepped up to distribute 8,000 suhoor meals to visitors of Al-Azhar Mosque on the 27th night of Ramadan, accommodating the increasing number of worshippers attending Taraweeh, Tahajjud, and the Night of Decree.
The initiative began in the early last ten nights of Ramadan with 3,000 meals, increasing by 1,000 daily to meet rising attendance, reaching a total of 8,000 meals on the 27th night. Additionally, the House provides iftar meals to over 10,000 fasting Egyptians, expatriates, and passersby under the “Iftar for Fasting” initiative.
This effort reflects the humanitarian and social role of Al-Zakat and Charity House as a developmental arm of Al-Azhar, adhering to the highest standards in preparing and distributing meals with a spirit of brotherhood and solidarity among all fasting people worldwide.
