Al-Azhar Institutes Sector Concludes Field Visits in Sohag and Dakahlia: Comprehensive Governance to Ensure Education Quality
Following the directives of the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, the sector completed extensive field missions in Sohag and Dakahlia to ensure discipline and high-quality educational performance.
The Al-Azhar Institutes Sector has concluded its intensive field visits to the governorates of Sohag and Dakahlia, in line with the directives of His Eminence Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, and His Eminence Dr. Mohamed Al-Duwaini, Deputy of Al-Azhar, emphasizing the importance of direct supervision and comprehensive governance in maintaining the quality of education.
Sheikh Ayman Abdel-Ghani, Head of the Al-Azhar Institutes Sector, stated that these missions represented a thorough evaluation process that covered all aspects of educational and administrative work. The Dakahlia mission was led by Dr. Ahmed Ali Siam, and the Sohag mission by Dr. Diaa Al-Haq Abu Bakr, with participation from specialized supervisors and experts across multiple fields.
The monitoring teams conducted extensive on-site inspections of institutes across both governorates to ensure teaching quality, attendance consistency, and adherence to educational standards. Abdel-Ghani emphasized that the objective is not only to highlight achievements but also to identify and rectify shortcomings promptly, ensuring continuous improvement.
He added that the sector is committed to enforcing comprehensive governance, asserting that discipline and seriousness are the cornerstones of Al-Azhar’s success. Any negligence, he stressed, will be met with strict action to preserve the institution’s integrity and educational excellence.
For his part, Dr. Ahmed El-Sharkawy, Deputy Head of the Sector, explained that the primary goal of these field missions is to provide direct on-ground support to teachers and administrators, listening to their suggestions and addressing challenges effectively to foster a balanced and distinguished educational environment that reinforces the role of Al-Azhar educators.
