Who Will Be Shaded by Allah on the Day of Judgment?

Dr. Ali Gomaa, a member of Egypt’s Council of Senior Scholars, explained that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ informed Muslims about seven categories of people who will receive Allah’s special shade on the Day of Judgment, when there will be no shade except His.

Another category is a person who remembers Allah while alone and sheds tears out of sincerity, humility, and awareness of Allah’s mercy and greatness, free from showing off before others.

A Person Whose Heart Is Attached to the Mosque

The fourth category is a person whose heart is attached to the mosque, meaning someone who consistently loves attending the mosque for prayers and remains spiritually connected to the houses of Allah.

Two People Who Love One Another for the Sake of Allah

Among the seven are two people who love each other for the sake of Allah, whose friendship is based on faith and obedience to Allah rather than worldly interests or personal gain.

A Person Who Rejects Temptation Out of Fear of Allah

The sixth category is a man who is invited by a woman of beauty and status to commit an immoral act but responds, "Indeed, I fear Allah."

This demonstrates strong faith, self-control, and sincere devotion to Allah.

A Person Who Gives Charity Secretly

The seventh category is a person who gives charity so secretly that the left hand does not know what the right hand has given.

This symbolizes complete sincerity, generosity, and seeking only Allah’s pleasure without desiring praise from people.

Three People Loved by Allah

Dr. Ali Gomaa also referred to another prophetic narration describing three people whom Allah loves and is pleased with:

• A person who stands firm in battle for the sake of Allah after others have retreated.
• A person who leaves a comfortable bed during the night to stand in prayer.
• A traveler who wakes before dawn while others sleep to remember Allah and pray.

Another authentic narration mentions that Allah is pleased with a person who leaves a warm bed on a cold night, performs ablution, and stands in prayer out of hope for His reward and fear of His punishment.
