"Whenever I heard a Hadith directly from the Messenger of Allah, Allah benefited me through it as He willed. But when someone narrated a Hadith to me, I asked him to swear that he had heard it, and if he swore, I accepted it."

"If I narrate something from the Messenger of Allah, then falling from the sky would be easier for me than telling a lie about him."

He said:

"Speak to people according to what they know. Do you want Allah and His Messenger to be rejected?"

Entrusting Knowledge to Those Who Are Qualified

Ali also believed that knowledge should be entrusted to trustworthy and capable individuals.

He once said to his student Kumayl ibn Ziyad:

"Indeed, there is knowledge within my heart. If only I could find people capable of carrying it."

The Death of Ali ibn Abi Talib

Ali ibn Abi Talib, may Allah be pleased with him, was martyred on the 17th of Ramadan, 40 AH, at approximately 60 years of age.

He left behind an extraordinary legacy of knowledge, courage, justice, and dedication to Islam. His contributions continue to occupy a central place in Islamic history and in the preservation of the Prophetic Sunnah.
