The Egyptian Ministry of Awqaf revealed the official dates and requirements for interviews of candidates applying to work at Nazr Mosques, including imams, muezzins, vow clerks, workers, and craftsmen. The ministry stated that interviews will follow strict guidelines to ensure fairness and transparency in choosing the most qualified individuals.
Conditions:
1. Applicants must meet the competition criteria.
2. Names must appear in the official lists on the ministry’s website.
3. Candidates must bring an updated employment statement and national ID card.
4. Successful completion of the personal interview tests is required.
Interview Schedule and Venues:
Imams and Muezzins: Interviews will be held at Al-Nour Mosque in Abbassia at 9 a.m., according to the following schedule:
Sunday & Monday (Nov 9–10, 2025): Cairo.
Wednesday (Nov 12): Alexandria, Gharbia, Matrouh.
Thursday (Nov 13): Kafr El-Sheikh, Beheira, Qalyubia.
Sunday (Nov 16): Sharqia, Dakahlia, Red Sea.
Monday (Nov 17): Menoufia, North & South Sinai, Fayoum, Ismailia, Damietta.
Tuesday (Nov 18): Qena, Luxor, Aswan, General Office.
Wednesday (Nov 19): Sohag, Minya, Assiut, Beni Suef.
Thursday (Nov 20): Giza and muezzins from all directorates.
Vow clerks, librarians, workers, and craftsmen:
Interviews will take place at regional directorate offices at 9 a.m. from Sunday, Nov 9 to Thursday, Nov 13, 2025, for Cairo; and on Nov 9–10 for other regional offices.
Each interview committee will be chaired by the director of the regional directorate and include officials from the legal, financial, HR, and preaching departments, along with a representative from the Ministry’s headquarters to ensure full transparency.
The Ministry emphasized that this process reflects its ongoing commitment to selecting the most capable and dedicated individuals to serve the houses of worship and promote balanced religious and national awareness.
