Dar Al-Iftaa has announced that Thursday, October 23, 2025, marks the beginning of Jumada al-Awwal 1447 AH, following official verification of the crescent moon’s sighting and alignment with astronomical calculations.
The National Research Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics clarified that the new crescent was born at 3:26 PM Cairo time on Tuesday, October 21, confirming the synchronization between scientific data and the religious sighting.
