A religious authority clarified that purity of the body, clothing, and place is a fundamental condition for the validity of prayer. If someone knowingly prays while having impurity, the prayer is invalid.

However, if the impurity is discovered only after completing the prayer, and the person was unaware of it during the الصلاة, then the prayer is considered valid.

In such cases, there is no sin on the individual because they performed the prayer believing they were in a state of purity.

Nevertheless, it is recommended—not obligatory—to repeat the prayer as a precaution and to avoid اختلاف among scholarly opinions.

This ruling reflects the principle of ease in religious practice, ensuring that individuals are not burdened for matters beyond their knowledge or control.
