The remembrance of Allah after the Isha prayer is among the most beloved acts that purify the heart and bring calm to the soul. It is a blessed time when prayers are answered and serenity descends upon those who remember Allah sincerely. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) encouraged believers to engage in dhikr after every obligatory prayer as a means of forgiveness and steadfastness in faith.

After finishing the Isha prayer, it is recommended to say Astaghfirullah three times, followed by: “O Allah, You are Peace, and from You comes peace. Blessed are You, O Possessor of Majesty and Honor.” Then to recite: “There is no god but Allah, alone without partner, to Him belongs the kingdom and all praise, and He has power over all things,” along with thirty-three repetitions each of SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah, and Allahu Akbar.

Among the comprehensive supplications are: “O Allah, help me to remember You, to thank You, and to worship You in the best manner,” and “O Allah, forgive all my sins and guide me to good deeds and noble character.” It is also recommended to pray for relief after hardship and for well-being in religion and worldly life.

Finally, ending the session with blessings upon the Prophet brings immense peace and reward. These evening remembrances are not mere words—they are lights that brighten the heart and open the doors of divine mercy.
